How to make sure that you will go to heaven? (Part 1)

I would suggest you to read 'Who will be in heaven and who will be in hell' before we can now talk about how to obtain salvation.

I hope my article can convince you that you are a sinner, that you are not genuine born again Christian yet, not elected yet, and have no right to enter Kingdom of God. But, if you are sincere, God will open the way for you to go into His dwelling place.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

My friends, not only you who are a sinner, everybody is sinner, everybody is going to hell, so don't worry, you will have many friends there. That is what many people in this world think. They think that they will meet again with their friends, their family, etc. The more the merrier. Instead being in heaven with saints, Jesus fanatics, hell sound has a lot of fun. Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Madonna, Michael Jackson, even the well-known preachers could also be there. Sound great, huh? Try it then, my friends. I believe that you will regret to ever think like that. In hell, there is deepest darkness, you can't see your friends, what you will experience is gnashing our your and your friends' teeth, crying in agony, begging for mercy, burned in never ending fire for ETERNITY. No chance to go out from there.

2 Peter 2:4

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but threw them into hell and committed them to chains of deepest darkness to be kept for judgment

But if you don't want to end up in hell. If you want to be saved, please follow these heaven's requirement. You need to make sure your name written in the Book of Life and never been removed again.

My friends, let's reason together. Maybe you are right now live in US, Indonesia, Philippines, EU. Then suddenly you talk to your best friend that you will go to UK in the next 2 days. What will your friend do? He will laugh at you and think that you are crazy. That's normal, right? How can you go to UK, if you don't even have Pass. And even if you have Pass but without Visa, you can't enter UK. You are daydreaming, my friends.

The same thing if you want to go to heaven. You need to fulfill all the requirements first before you can now be accepted there.

First requirement: Pass

Maybe right now, you can boldly say to me that if you died right now, you will be in heaven. My friends, can I see your Pass first? Do you really have that or just daydreaming?

What is Pass to heaven, Alvin?

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Your Pass is this: you must be born again. You need Jesus since no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

You need to invite Jesus personally into your heart and into your life. Allow Him not only be your Saviour but also be your King upon your life. For I tell you, many want to be saved, but a few want to surrender 100% to Jesus. Everybody wants to be freed from slavery of sin, but then many of them choose to live their own life, be a king of himself. It will not work, my friends. Don't you know that you who have been set free from sin, now have become slaves to righteousness? Those who still love their past life, their life, will lose it.

Matthew 10:39

He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

If you are born again, you will be a new creature, your old has passed away, and all things are become new. You attitude change, your ambition change, your sinful nature was dead, you will have a mind like Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Many preachers or pastors or priests are deceiving themselves and their people, since even they themselves haven't experienced genuine born again. So, for them, everybody who goes to the church, who read Bible, who can pray long, who doing good deeds is born again. Is that really true?

If you think like that, you also haven't been born again, because if you are genuinely born again, there will be regeneration in you, you will be different people, people can see it from you. You are so much different with your old-self. You will have testimonies about it because it happened instaneously, at the moment you invite Jesus. Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God doesn't have life. This is practical, not teaching of men, not doctrinal, not theory, you have to strive, to ask God, to humble yourself, to have faith like children, to 100% surrender before the Lord, repent, ask His forgiveness, believing Him that your sins will not be remember any longer, and make commitment to follow and obey Him. Acknowledge Him as your personal Saviour and Lord. Jesus Christ is His name.

You will remember the moment you are born again, since it is the most special moment in your life because you will finally find your peace with God, all your guilts are justified, no more remembered by God. It is personal between you and God. No other man can help you or even make the salvation for you. You have to make your own decision.

Romans 3:24-26

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus.

Alvin, I have done that, but still I found no peace of God in my heart and I still continue sinning, I can't help it. I still like to watch porn, doing immorality with my girlfriend, etc. You are lying, Alvin. No one can live in holiness. Why you make the way to heaven so difficult?

My friends, if you think like that, go ahead, continue living in sins and with time, we will see, who is right, who is wrong. I just tried to help you. For I tell you, I have been 'born again' for more than 3 times. At that time, I always felt that I need to invite Jesus again and again, because I am still sinning. That's not born again, my friends. That's just a periodical commitment, not last long. It is not finished work of Jesus. Why?

Because Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit hasn't been given to you. You are still children of darkness. You are deceiving yourself, you believe that you are born-again, which in fact, you are not. This is how to experience the genuine born again, my friends.

Please don't just say faith, faith, faith. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. It is no use. To go with the plane, bus, train, you also need faith. Faith are everywhere, even the chair you sit right now, you put your faith in it. Have you ever checked whether it can hold you on or not, the food you ate in restaurant, you never check whether it is poisonous or not. You apply faith in many aspect of your life. So, please don't always say about faith. Show your faith without deeds, I will show mine with what I do. What count is in what foundation your faith is grounded, where do you build your house, on the rock or the sand.

But, please don't think that deed is equal with work, e.g: you need to help poor people first, you need to go to some specific place first, you need to help your church first. Those are not the deed I meant. Love of God and love of neighbour (helping people) will become your own nature when Christ in you, you will not struggling for that. We are justified by faith, not by work

Galatians 2:16

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

This is the deeds that Bible want: faith + goodness + knowledge + self-control + perseverance + godliness + brotherly kindness + love.

2 Peter 1:5-8

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Is that difficult?

Yes, that would be very difficult if you don't have God's Spirit inside you. But if you have Holy Spirit inside you, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. His commands are not burdensome.

1 John 5:3-4

This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Please don't also always say about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Don't you know there are a lot of people whose name are Jesus, especially those in the Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela. Which Jesus you have faith in? Jesus preached in the Bible or your own Jesus whose death is not enough, so that you need extra work for your salvation?

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel -- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have aready said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!

My friends, there are many people try to distort the Gospel for their own benefit, or according to their human wisdom, though they have no bad intention, but because they depend on their own wisdom, they spread lies, spread another Gospel, they put their lives in danger of God's Wrath, being condemned forever in Hell. If you are not well established in God's Word, don't ever trying to be a teacher, to be a preacher, because if you misled those who are sincere, it would be better for you to have a large millstone hung around your neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea (Matthew 18:6). Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check (James 3:1-2).

So, I hope your process of being born again is the genuine one, ask Jesus as your Saviour and also your King. Many people don't understand what Bible said, that's why they make their own doctrines and condemned those who understand. These men speak abusively against whatever they do not undestand; and what things they do undestand by instinct, like unreasoning animals -- these are the very things that destroy them.

How to be born again?

Acts 20:21

Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Before you have faith in Him, you need to repent from your sins first and make commitment to stop doing that. This commitment can't be fulfilled by your own might, you are helpless if you still believe in yourself, you need greated power to help you, you need Jesus, my friends. You need to invite Him. If you are really sincere, you will experience that God is real, God is so close to you, you will finally have peace with God, you will have testimony that God has done a marvelous thing in your life, you are now become the Children of God. Please, if you still haven't experienced this, go to your room and pray, ask God to show Himself to you. I believe that if you are sincere, you will receive the genuine born again. Otherwise, you will just deceiving yourself more.

And after you experience that peace, go to the church and testify it to the people. You need to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10). Many have been touched by God, but they are ashamed of this Gospel, they never testified about how God changed their lives. Or many also haven't experience the real peace, the genuine born again, but they behave as if they are already born again.

Do you know the word 'born again' means? For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. That's born again. You are no longer yourself, you are in Christ, you are God's child, you have to obey your Father's will and follow His commandments. His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.

Who will be in heaven and who will be in hell?

My friends, do you believe that every place has its own rules? If you don't agree with me, just try to go to your neighbour's house and do as if you are in your own house, go to his bedroom, open his refrigerator, etc. I would be surprise if your neighbour still can tolerate you.

Yes, every place has its own rules. The same thing applied in heaven and hell. (If you don't believe that Heaven and Hell exist click here). What rules do you need to obey to go to heaven? Everybody wants to go to heaven, right? Nobody wants to be condemned in hell. But as we learn from our society, heaven and hell have also its own rules. Since there is only heaven and hell, we just need to see the rules from one of them to know where we will be afterlife. If we are not in heaven, we must be in hell, and vice versa.

So, my friends, where should we start, heaven or hell? I would like to talk about heaven's rules because everybody wants to go to heaven, including you, so you need to know the rules of heaven, right? Let's talk about it now. But I can tell that many of you will stop reading in between and will say, 'This is the hard teaching, who can accept it? (John 6:60).

What is heaven's rules, Alvin? What behaviour should not be in me to enter heaven?

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

You know that wicked people will not inherit the kingdom of God, don't you? Stop deceiving yourselves! Sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunks, slanderers, and robbers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions, envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation of John 21:8

But people who are cowardly, unfaithful, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselves in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.

Let me make a list from those verses about things that are not allowed to enter the kingdom of God.

• impurity, murder: wicked people, slanderers, thieves, robbers
• sexual immorality, promiscuity, homosexuals, orgies: adulterers, male prostitutes
• idolatry, witchcraft: idolaters
• hatred, envy, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger: greedy people
• quarrels, conflicts, factions, drunks

Do you have one of them there? I believe you have at least one, right? You have tried your best not to do these kinds of sins, but your works bring no good, you are helpless. You know that these rules (law) captive you, no matter how you tried, you will still at least one of them and if you have at least one, please read this verse well

James 2:10

For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point is guilty of breaking all of it

Let me tell you in common words: those who do freesex with their girlfriend or boyfriend, those who do masturbation, orgies, addicted to drugs, those who like to drink beer or wine till got drunk, those who want to be rich by unjust gain, cheating, doing wickedness, etc, those who homosex, prostitutes, those who hate, have greediness to others. You will never be in heaven. Those who envy, jealous to others. No matter your culture tries to justify it, sex before married is sin, homosexual is sin, there is no white lies, abortion is sin, euthanasia is sin.

Whoah, so...how can people go to heaven? Nobody is perfect, we are not saints, only Jesus who without sin. We are sinners, Alvin. How about you yourself? I believe that you are also do those things, Alvin.

My friends, I just quotes it from Bible, none of those things are my own thought. That's God's rules. It applied to me as well. If we want to go to heaven, we must obey its rules. Here, I want to destroy your imaginary heaven, heaven that never exist, like I destroyed mine more than 1 year ago with my Bible. I tell you the truth, if you keep doing these things, you will end up in hell, no argument. God is Love but He is also Just.

Alvin, you must be kidding me, right? It is impossible to do those things, we are human being, we are sinners, we are even 'kings of sinners'. How can I go to heaven if the rules are like this. Nobody can go to heaven. Ok, if these rules really stand, I know that my destiny is fixed. I will be condemned in Hell for eternity. Nobody can save me. I am hopeless. God, have mercy on me.

As I tell you in the beginning, many of you will leave and say, 'This is the hard teaching, who can accept it?' Yes, my friends, this is really a hard teaching, going to heaven never been easy, was Jesus lying when He said, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able (Luke 13:24).

Do you know what strive means? Let me use an example from daily life, imagine if you are in the highest level of the building with 1000 of people around you, and suddenly the fire alarm rings, the only way to go out is through elevator and ladder. What will you do? You will strive to enter that elevator or run as much as you can to go out from that building through that ladder, right? That 'strive' really means. Or do you think Peter was lying when he said,

1 Peter 4:18

If it is hard for the righteous person to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and sinful person?”

My friends, it never been easy for us to go to heaven, even for the born-again Christian, including me. We always need grace of God. We can't make it by ourselves. We can backslide anytime. Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Once you open a way for him, you will be devoured by him.

Open a way? I am not that stupid, Alvin. I will never do wicked things, all that come from devil are bring no good, I will never fall into temptation.

If you never fall into temptation, you are great person, in other word, you are a good liar, my friends. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives (1 John 1:10). Maybe you are unaware with how the devil works, that's why you unconciously said that you didn't do sins, even it is clear that you are bowing down before the statues, before men, etc. Satan is the father of lies and when he lies, he speaks his native language, he speaks with something that you can understand. He has his own children. They twist the Word of God to support more of their lies, so that you can't hear what God says any longer, because you don't belong to God.

Don't think that Satan is blind about Bible, he tempted Jesus with Word of God, but Jesus rebuke him with the Truth. Devil always try to twist the word of God to mislead the simple, he even infilterate the churches, those preachers who always talk about money, blessing, freedom from financial problems, etc, (they even sell bestseller books and every time they preach, they advertise their books to people) but never talk about God's rules, God's judgment, etc. They are in high probability already acquinted by demons to satisfy your itching ears, many of them don't care about your salvation, they just think about their own stomach, your tithe, your offering, that's the only business they think about. And you, the simple, are the easiest target since you are lazy to read Bible, just want to hear from your priests once a week, your ignorancy can bring eternal judgment to them. The word of God will make the blind people more blind and will make those who see, see even more.

Satan works so smoothly, it always started from temptation. Bible says that each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death (James 1:14-15). Sin usurp into our life slowly but sure.

Temptation --> desire --> sin --> death. This is always the way devil work, he never change his methods from the beginning. In the same way, he tempted Eve, but still people fall away, because he uses the desire of flesh, the pleasure, the worldly things to deceive us. That's why Bible warns us not to love the world. Be careful of temptation and your own desire, my friends.

I am talking to those who are children of God and to sinners who are willing to be freed from their slavery of sins. What devil's business to those people who are already under his captive, his prison. Even he didn't do anything, those people are willing to be his slaves. Doing free-sex, go to parties, being rich from unjust gain, easy money bring so much pleasure to our flesh. Who can reject it?

I did masturbation everyday while watching porn movies before I was born again. I know the esctasy of it, it pleased my flesh. I stole my parents' money when I was 10 year old. I want something but I can't get it, so I steal others' belonging. I didn't think that it was sin, what I cared is that I got what I want. That's my past life. I will never be ashamed of that, even more, I would boast about my weakness, because in my weakness, God is there, helping me, raising me up. He changed me completely.

Mark 8:36

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

So, now...if I see many Christians/Catholics flock into the church, more than 2 billion people in the world 'believe' in Jesus. Would all of them go to heaven, go through that narrow gate? My answer is NO. I have been in that position, I know many of us also a good liar, you are still wearing mask to the church, you are like whitewashed tomb, look beautiful on outside, but inside full of dead men's bones. You can claim anything you like, you can proclaim yourself as believer, as 'genuine' born again Christian. You can say that you have faith in Jesus, but let me ask you something: Can you show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do (James 2:18). If you 'believe' in Jesus but your deeds testified otherwise but still, you believe that you can enter heaven, that gate will never be narrow, won't it? I tell you the truth, right now, you are in your imaginary heaven, heaven that never exist. Just try to be honest to yourself, my friends.

Matthew 7:21-23

Not everyone who keeps saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will get into the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, drove out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name, didn't we? Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you evildoers!

Who can go to heaven now then, Alvin? Answer is simple. Only those whose names are written in the Book of Life, the elects. Those who keep doing the Father's will.

Ooo my God, that means I am not elected? I am Christian, Alvin, but I am still doing sins. I can't help it. I still continue sinning. I can't stop sinning. How can I? I am human being.

Hebrews 10:26-27

For if we choose to go on sinning after we have received the full knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but only a terrifying prospect of judgment and a raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

My friends, if you think like that, good, I rejoice in my heart, since now, you know how helpless you are. Maybe before you read this article, you think that you are in heaven when you died. You think that you are something, which in fact you are nothing. You were deceiving yourself (Galatians 6:3). But now you know that you will be in hell because of your free sex, drugs addict, cheating, lying attitude, etc.

So, my friends, please stop justifying yourself. Don't say that I judge you. This is not me, but the Bible speaks by itself. You are going to hell if you keep doing your sinful nature even though you are 'believing' in Jesus, because you are a liar and the liar will be in hell.

1 John 1:5-6

This is the message that we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness—none at all! If we claim that we have fellowship with him but keep living in the darkness, we are lying and the truth is not in us.

I was also Christian since I was born, I have been baptized at 17 years old, I have been 'born-again' more than 3 times. But still, I kept on sinning, I still my old self. If you right now experience the same thing like I was before. and felt helpless right now, but you are sincere to be saved, to make sure that your heaven is real. I have solution for that, but would you do that with all of your heart, with no argument to God?
